Ryan Reynolds has a new commercial out and he promotes both of his companies, Aviation Gin and Mint Mobile. He’s cleverly made an ad for both of them at once, with the simple message, “don’t aviation and mint”. What does that mean? Don’t text when you’ve been drinking, he’s seen the worse of what can happen.
As Reynolds walks towards the camera on clouds with messages flying by him, he shares one of the worst messages he’s ever seen. It was from his mother to his brother, on accident. It must have scarred his brother. The message read, “I’m having a bath. Wanna join?” followed by some eggplant emojis.

Viewers commented on the ad, “Don’t know what the ?? jokes are about…what’s wrong with cocktail ingredients? ✈️?”, “The only ads I actually watch”, “Now THIS is advertising”, “this is gonna sound weird but Ryan Reynolds voice is so calming”, “HAHAHAHA. Absolutely amazing. I don’t even drink gin, but I’ll buy yours, Ryan.”, “I have the worst habit of drunk texting and regretting it the next day” and “This man is just a living meme love it!”
Reynolds knows how to make an ad and we look forward to seeing them whenever we can. I use Mint Mobile and love it, though I’ll be sure to stay away from the gin while I’m using it. I wouldn’t want to have a mistake like his mom!
