British Royal Family News says that Meghan Markle doesn’t feel satisfied with just being a Hollywood actress, successful television star and the Duchess of Sussex. Apparently, she also wants to one day be the next President of the United States as well. There are new reports that says Prince Harry’s wife has some serious ambitions to run for President. Here’s what you need to know.

Now that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are no longer considered full-time working members of the royal family, the former Suits star has her eye on the White House. And she’s quite serious about it, too. One source close to the Duchess of Sussex made the comments in a new interview with Vanity Fair.

“One of the reasons she was so keen not to give up her American citizenship was so she had the option to go into politics,” the unidentified friend told the mag.

“I think if Meghan and Harry ever gave up their titles she would seriously consider running for president,” the friend added of rumors of a 2024 run. “Meghan is the embodiment of the American dream. One day we may see Meghan become president,” the author said.

If that weren’t enough, author Omid Scobie, who co-wrote Finding Freedom: Harry, Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family, also suggests that yes, Meghan does want to be referred to as Madame President one day.

Just this week, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex recorded a video message in honor of National Voter Registration Day this week. The short clip aired during an ABC network special unveiling Time magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people of 2020. Prince Harry, who is not a U.S. citizen and cannot vote in this upcoming election, urged viewers to reject hate speech, misinformation, and online negativity.
