Of course we knew there would be a pro-choice protest in downtown LA, it was a peaceful event being held in which people had come together to discuss the potential of the overturning of Roe v. Wade, however no one counted on the fact that pandemonium would break loose when a cop pulled up.
At first when the police pulled up, nothing happened, everyone was silently just filming the cops with their phones because no one was doing anything and we are allowed freedom of assembly in this country, at least we are right now. The protester in question wasn’t even sure why the police were called in the first place because no one was being violent.

But then, the tiktokker alleges that a second cop car pulled up, and she chose that moment to put her phone away because she just didn’t think it was a big deal and that they would just secure the parameter and be on their way.
The second cop car however drove into some pedestrians, hitting a man’s legs, and that’s when pandemonium started. It wasn’t until then that things started getting out of hand and arrests started being made, but the thing is, according to this person on tiktok – it wasn’t the protesters that started it – it was the police themselves.
…And someone out there is privvy to that footage. The tiktokker says that several people were filming at the time of the accident and clearly got the cop on camera hitting the man’s legs and driving into pedestrians. However so far, no one has come forward yet with the footage, or maybe they have and it just hasn’t been uploaded to tiktok yet, chances are someone out there somewhere has access to this footage and will be uploading it soon.
This is the LAPD after all, quite a few people haven’t been happy with the way the department is run over the years, but now that there’s footage of an officer driving into peaceful protesters? It’s not looking so great for them. We do hope that the pedestrian who got hit is okay, no one should be ran down for simple participating in a peaceful protest.
