It’s no secret that a lot of celebrities have tiktoks now and they use it to keep up with fans and they even directly comment on things and maybe even send a few DMs over tiktok (that can neither be confirmed nor denied) but LL Cool J just took it a step farther and decided to give out a phone number where fans can text him, over Tiktok!!!
He said that he was open to people texting him and talking about classic hip-hop, boxing, working out, talking about whatever.

He also said that he was out to inspire fans and if they feel that they have something that could inspire him that he wants to see it and he might text back in return with some inspirational quotes of his own. This seems almost like a gimmick to get on a text ‘mailing list’ for quotes from LL Cool J but how bad could it be?
After all, Tana Mongeau had a similar thing a few months back where you could text her but we assumed it was for questions for the podcast but it was here for a minute and then gone. (although we’re certain if you check back on some old tweets you’d be able to find that number)
So one wonders how long this is actually going to hang around or if this is something that LL Cool J is actually going to keep doing in order to actually keep in contact with fans. He seems pretty genuine about this venture but one wonders what on earth kinds of safety measures he has in place because some fans are… shall we say… pretty dedicated and tend to want to track down actual phone numbers and match them up to locations.
Although, we’re sure that his team has some kind of safeguards in place in order to ensure the rapper’s safety. In case you’re wondering the number in question is 917-540-5512 and he seems to be all about the positivity and inspiration… we’ll see how long that lasts when he gets some unsolicited pics from some jokers.
