It looks like no one wants to live in a mansion that was built lies, deceit and the tears of their victims. There’s a new report that says Erika Jayne and her estranged husband Tom Girardi’s mansion has been slashed to $8.2 million, as no one wants to buy their home. Here’s what you need to know.
The price of the four-bedroom, nine-bathroom abode was slashed earlier this year to $11.5 million and then again to $9.8 million. It’s now up for grabs for a cool $8.9 million. The property is in high contention by the Los Angeles federal court for the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, 50, and her estranged husband, 82.
Erika Jayne Is Having A Hard Time Selling Her Mansion
Although a federal judge ruled Tom Girardi could stay at the home until he found a buyer, it appears that the former hot shot lawyer may have moved into an assisted living facility. Tom was first placed under the conservatorship back in February following his diagnosis with late-onset Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
Earlier this month, Erika Jayne tried to defend herself during the most recent “RHOBH” reunion after it was revealed that she has a $14 million dollar American Express bill attached to her name.
The reality television star and singer said that the bill, which was made public amid her legal and financial woes with her e-husband Tom Girardi, is the result of her spending from the past 12 years. According to Erika, the $14 million that she owes American Express really isn’t that much.
“So, if you knock that down to $2 million per year, that’s all pretty much what we’re doing this year,” she said, gesturing to her co-stars. “I mean, doing in this lifestyle.” One source close to the situation now says she’s thankful the reunion special is all in the past.
“It was hard to live, it was hard to talk about and it was hard to relive. She’s ready for a break from the viewers being so on top of her every week, but she will be sharing more in season 12,” the source shared, per ET Online.
