Jeana Keough, best known from The Real Housewives of Orange County, has stated how Vicki Gunvalson has been such a loyal friend to her.

One particular moment, in question, that struck Jeana was Vicki’s response to the news that her grandson McCoy had died. Upon hearing it, Jeana decided to fly out in order to meet her daughter Kara Keough. But with the pandemic providing major uncertainty, Vicki stepped up to the plate. In an interview with Us Weekly, Jeana revealed how Vicki put her first.

She said: “[Vicki told me], ‘I don’t want to lose you and the baby. So, you’re not flying here until we know for sure it’s safe… I’m picking you up. We’re driving to Florida.” From the outset, Vicki was there to offer her support. An given that McCoy died at such a young age, things were made even more complicated, knowing he had a long future ahead of him.

In response to the revelations, Vicki posted the following: “Bless you, Kyle, [your daughter], Decker, and your family. I am so sorry, honey.” The two have been very close friends, which has not changed, despite their respective departures from the show. Although they did have some heated moments in the aftermath of Jeana’s departure, they are still very much besties at heart.

She added: “She had lots of great ideas. … It’s good to have friends that are prepared as you get older, that know how to do stuff.” So how did the trip go down? Well, it is safe to say that they did get there in one piece. But that did not stop Jeana from giving fans an insight into how she travels. She admitted to being a backseat driver and not someone who would be an ideal passenger.

She did see the funny side of it, though. She continued: “[I always ask] “Are we there yet? Are we stopping for lunch? Do you want a coffee? Do you have to go to the bathroom?” It is nice to see the duo being there for each other, and rest assured, Jeana would be happy to return the favour too.
