Alexis Bellino has opened up on how she is dealing with co-parenting alongside her ex Jim Bellino.

The duo have a long history together, given they had been married for 13 years since they walked down the aisle in 2005. During this time, they raised three kids. Naturally, that comes with additional challenges given that they are about to enter into their teenage years.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Alexis revealed how co-parenting has been a mixed bag. She said: “We still have our ups and downs. One thing that we are 100 percent about is how much we love our kids, and we want it to be the best for them and put them first. So that works out.”
The primary reason why things have been so bad is that the split ended in a bad way. In the aftermath, Alexis moved on with Andy Bohn. The duo got engaged soon after, but Jim will not be in attendance at her wedding. That is not to say that Jim and Andy do not get along, but rather, Jim is someone who is a part of Alexis’ past, not her future.
She added: “He [Andy] doesn’t have an enemy, and he’s the most easygoing, kindhearted person you’ve ever met. He would never allow there to be any kind of tension or anything, so it works out good.” Nevertheless, she believes that with time things will get easier. This has already been shown by the fact that Jim has given Andy his seal of approval.
That says a lot, as Andy will be a part of the future of his kids by virtue of being a stepfather. And with some sort of stability in place, Alexis believes that things will improve. She continued: “It should be getting easier, and it does each day. We just try to respect each other and put our kids first. We definitely have our days.”
Let us hope that Alexis and Jim can put aside their differences for the sake of the kids. Failure to do so is only going to harm them. As for the future, we wish Alexis the best with her relationship with Andy and fans will be dying to see how the wedding turns out.
