‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ spoilers say even though they live thousands of miles away from one another, Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice will always be family.
And that’s not just because they share four daughters together, but also because they share a whole lot of history and yes, a whole lot of love, despite their divorce. In fact, Teresa recently opened on what could have saved their marriage. Here’s what she has to say.
‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ Spoilers: Does Teresa Giudice Still Have Love For Her Ex Joe Giudice?
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight in a new interview, Teresa said that everything of course changed when her ex-husband was deported to their native Italy after serving his 41-month prison sentence for numerous fraud charges.
She says that she wasn’t going to just take her kids and move to Italy, mostly because they all grew up at home in the U.S. However, Teresa says that she might have decided against a divorce if her kids had voiced a desire to move to Italy.
“You never know, if my daughters said, ‘move to Italy,’ then maybe I would’ve done that,” she shared. “But my kids did not want to move. They don’t even speak the language. They had been through so much already.”
As far as her separation from Joe, Teresa says that the two of them had the “easiest” divorce ever and that she’s grateful for all he’s done for their family.
“Joe is the father of my daughters, he’s an amazing father [and] he’s in my life,” Teresa explained. “He did the right thing by me. Everything that happened to me, he didn’t mean for it to happen to me. He really didn’t. He didn’t want any of this to happen.”
“But yeah, the divorce, the easiest divorce in the whole universe,” she continued. “I definitely recommend anybody getting a divorce, think about your kids, and [how that] person is going to be in your life the rest of your life. So, try to just take it easy. Don’t spend that money on lawyers. Try to split up everything with each other and take it easy,” she advised.
