Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga have opened up on their decision to miss Teresa Giudice’s wedding.

Joe may be Teresa’s sister, but the couple showed that blood is not always thicker than water, as they rejected the opportunity to attend despite having been invited to do so.
And at a time where this was Teresa’s biggest day, as she ultimately had moved on from her ex-husband Joe Giudice, the reason for missing the wedding must have been a crucial one.
And that is what it seemed, as Melissa admitted that things were too difficult to overcome. In her comments, she said: “Sometimes when things are too toxic and you try over and over and over again and it just keeps coming back around to the same thing … even if it’s family, you have to let it go.”
With that being said, Melissa opened up about how the public does not know the reasons as to why they are on bad terms. But one thing that she did admit was the fact that Luis Ruelas did not cover himself in glory.
It is no secret that Luis does have a past, as he was charged with assault, while ex-fiancée, Vanessa Reiser, admitted that Luis would get outraged unless he got the requisite sex that he needed. This was on the basis that his libido levels were out of control.
And that sense of rubbing people up the wrong way was something that Melissa felt too. She added: “[There were] past altercations with Louie that we’ve never talked about and that we’ve decided to kind of push under the rug because we want Teresa to be happy.”
Meanwhile, Joe’s take on the whole situation suggested that Teresa did not want him or Melissa there. He revealed that she did not ask him to walk her down the aisle, and therefore, Joe had no intention of putting himself in a situation that would have made him unhappy.
