‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Eva Marcille has slammed the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v Wade.

As of now, individual states will be allowed to decide whether or not abortion is legal.  While some may argue that this is an attempt to appease both sides, the very fact of the matter is that Eva condemned the decision. The star expanded on how the ruling could have a negative impact on minority groups.

In an interview with TMZ, she said: “We took our country back so many years… especially being a black woman in today’s climate, it’s really frustrating to see a constitutional fundamental right be overturned. It’s absolutely disgusting.”

And that was just the start. Eva began to direct her criticism towards former United States President Donald Trump. This was on the basis that three of the people who were on the Supreme Court had been appointed by Trump.

Not only that, but the former president did not hold back on his happiness at the decision being made. In the immediate aftermath of the ruling, Trump remarked the following: “Today’s decision, which is the biggest WIN for LIFE in a generation.

“I did not cave to the Radical Left Democrats, their partners in the Fake News Media, or the RINOs who are likewise the true, but silent, enemy of the people.”

The response on social media towards Eva’s comment was very hostile. This was on the grounds that irrespective of the decision, people felt she had turned this into an issue of race which was not related to the problem.

One person wrote: “Why do we always turn EVERYTHING into a race thing?????” while another person stated: “That’s how the left is.  Race related everything no matter what.”

With protests having emerged across the US in response to the decision, the country is more divided than ever. And that is not a good thing going forward. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
