Cynthia Bailey, who is best known for being on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, has vowed to stand by Nene Leakes following the death of the latter’s husband, Gregg Leakes.

Nene, for her part, has had a really hard time of late. During a recent public event, she broke down and stated that her husband was more or less on his death bed.
Soon after, it was announced that he had passed away from colon cancer. That is why Nene will need the support of all her family and friends to get through this difficult time.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Cynthia said: “I pray she’s doing well. [It’s] very, very sad. Gregg was very loved by everyone, and [I’m] just wishing her all the love and strength.”
Since the news was announced, Nene has not been seen at a public event. This is understandable given that she and Gregg did leave children behind.
And in an attempt to avoid them from suffering, too, Nene has taken some time out to take stock of things before deciding what she should do with her life going forward.
In a statement given at the time of his death on behalf of Nene, her representative remarked: “We ask that you pray for peace and strength over their family & allow them to mourn in private during this very, very difficult time.”
But in Cynthia, Nene does have a genuine friend. Immediately after it became clear that Gregg had passed away, Cynthia reached out to make sure that she was there for Nene.
And in doing so, she let Nene know that she was willing to offer whatever help she may have needed. In an Instagram post at the time of Greg’s death, Cynthia stated: “Sending my heartfelt condolences to @NeNeLeakes and her family. Thinking of you & my heart and prayers are with you.”
Let us hope that Nene can recover from this terrible ordeal. And with Cynthia by her side, she is in a good position to be able to put her demons behind her. And we wish her the best in overcoming all of this.
