Today, Princess Beatrice celebrates her Birthday. Beatrice is the niece of King Charles and Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s daughter. She was born on August 8, 1988. Today, we give Beatrice props for her significant turnaround when it comes to fashion.
Beatrice’s Fashion Sense Has Greatly Improved Over The Years
Last month, Tatler named Beatrice “Princess of Perfection” because she was at the top of their best-dressed list, but that wasn’t always the case.
Beatrice wore a dreadful Philip Treacy hat to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding. She was called out for the fashion disaster and promptly turned things around.
The press compared the infamous hat to a toilet seat, a pretzel, and a Turkey Twizzler. Needless to say, the ordeal was humiliating for the Princess.
Beatrice’s lack of fashion sense quickly changed when celebrity stylist Olivia Buckingham introduced the Princess to haute couture fashion.
She has since become a symbol of fashion elegance. She loves to pair vintage pieces with glamorous fresh from the catwalk couture.
For example, in September 2023, Beatrice, her sister Eugenie, and her husband Edwardo Mapelli Mozzi attended the Vogue World London Show at the Theatre Royal. She wore a trendy ensemble by the designer Richard Quinn, complete with fierce full-length gloves.
For Christmas 2023, Beatrice and Edwardo attended a church service at St. Mary Magdalene in a stylish navy coat by Maje and a matching hat.
Beatrice loves blue, as she wore a lovely light blue gown by Self-Portrait for the wedding of Crown Prince Hussien and Princess Rajwa last year.
She wore an exquisite rose-printed midi dress by Me and Em to a school visit in London sponsored by the British Skin Foundation.
Beatrice Now Dresses To Flatter Her Figure
The Princess now dresses to flatter her figure, as she did at Royal Ascot this year, wearing a gorgeous green floral dress from the royal-approved designer Emelia Wickstead. She looked fabulous.
These are examples of a couple of her fashion triumphs, as she has continued to impress everyone with her thoughtful and chic choices.
Beatrice’s current style is a departure from her earlier outfits, which often clashed or looked drab and uninspired. Olivia Buckingham introduced her to famous designers, such as Gucci and The Vampire’s Wife. Beatrice has taken a shine to dressing with refinement and sophistication.
The late Queen Elizabeth and Princess Kate have often been praised for their sophisticated and worldly appearances. Their outfits usually have a splash of vibrant color, but Beatrice prefers a more understated look these days.
Colors can elevate our moods and inspire us creatively. Beatrice likes using more subtle hues, such as cream, powder pink, navy, sage, beige, camel, and shades of blue. Beatrice’s fashion sense has generously evolved since the “hat incident.”
Earlier today, her mother, the Duchess of York, shared a black and white photo of her and her firstborn and posted a sweet message to Beatrice on social media,
She wrote.
“Happy Birthday, my wonderful Beatrice. You are the most amazing daughter, mother, stepmother, sister, wife, and woman! I feel so privileged to be able to learn from you every day. You continue to inspire me and those around you with your warmth, curiosity, and zest for life. Happy Birthday,”
