It looks like the British Royal Family is dealing with one royal headache after another. There’s a new report that says Princess Anne’s bull terrier attacked another dog at a Boxing Day shoot. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time that it has happened. Here’s what you need to know.

According to new reports, Princess Anne was totally embarrassed after one of her English bull terriers went on the attack at a Boxing Day event. Apparently, the dog “sank its teeth” into the ear of a dog belonging to a gamekeeper. The result was a lot of blood and a lot of screaming.

One source close to the situation even said, “The Boxing Day shoot’s a huge family affair so Anne took along her dog. It ran across the field straight at the gamekeeper’s dog and latched on to its ear.”

The tipster added, “It took a while to get the dog off the ear because it had really sunk its teeth in. Everyone was OK in the end but the atmosphere was extremely tense afterwards for some time. A good few people questioned what if it had been Charlotte or George or any of the children instead of another dog?”

Back in 2002, Princess Anne pleaded guilty to a charge under the Dangerous Dogs Act when her English bull terrier Dotty bit two children. Asa result, the princess plead guilty and was fined $650. One of her dogs, a three-year-old English bull terrier called Dotty, bit two children as they walked in Windsor Great Park  that year.

The district judge, Penelope Hewitt, spared Dotty’s life but said it must undergo training and be kept on a lead in all public places. She also told Princess Anne that her dog would be killed on the spot if there were any further incidents.

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said.
