Prince William and Kate Middleton are being criticized for constantly going on vacation. They seem to be doing less work these days and more frolicking around tropical beaches and winter ski resorts than anything else.
Prince William And Kate Middleton TRASHED For Taking So Much Vacation Time
Just like the other members of the royal family, the Prince and Princess of Wales sure do get a lot of time off during the summer holidays. Some people think that it’s even too much time off.
According to Express.co.uk, many Brits believe that Prince William and Princess Kate shouldn’t be allowed so much time off. They keep using their children’s school calendars as an excuse to move things around on their own, but it’s not like they have to. They have plenty of royal nannies that help them around the house as it is.
Some critics have even commented on the matter with, “Time off from what? Attending premieres? Top sporting events? Ascot? Wimbledon? Their over-privileged lifestyles are funded by hard-working taxpayers. This lot are just lazy layabouts scrounging off the state.”
Another royal critic said, “They do very little anyway, even before taking more time off. They will do 2, 3 or 4 things during one trip and count it as 2, 3 or 4 engagements. Lots of their engagements are in London or the Home Counties too.”
There was this comment, too: “Why should they have a 6-week holiday? They don’t work for the rest of the 46 weeks of the year.”

Granted, the royals don’t work as hard as the average person does. Six weeks does seem like a lot of time off, especially when they don’t work for six consecutive weeks at a time, too.
Now, as far as whether or not Prince William and Kate do take too much time off, that debate can go on and on. No one seems to know what it is that they actually do other than attend a royal engagement here and there and make a public appearance when King Charles asks them to. Only the Prince and Princess of Wales know the answer to that question.
So far, Buckingham Palace has not said anything about the criticism.
