According to a commentator, Kate Middleton and Prince William have decided not to share any details with the Sussexes regarding the Coronation plans.
William And Kate Won’t Disclose Anything To The Sussexes During The Coronation-‘Everyone’s Terrified’
The reason behind this decision is their concern that everything related to the Royal Family could be used in order to generate clout and publicity.
As per Louise Roberts, those who are near to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are extremely fearful because any minor mistake or casual remark may be amplified for the American audience to generate profit for the couple.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made shocking disclosures and accusations in the past few months, through their Netflix series and Harry’s book Spare.
These revelations are believed to have worsened their already strained relationship with the firm, leading to a loss of trust from William and other members of the royal family.
With that being said, this is what Roberts had to say: “The problem is that anyone who could be close to them, for example, William and Kate, won’t tell them anything.
“Everyone’s terrified, everything’s for sale, every indiscretion or every aside comment could be magnified for an American audience in order to get them a profit.”
Paul Burrell, who used to be the butler of Princess Diana, has suggested that if Harry and Meghan attend an event, they might have to deal with the anger of King Charles III after he was upset by his son’s memoir.
Burrell also thinks that Meghan may not have the courage to attend the event as it could be a very awkward situation for her. This is understandable when we look at the couple’s conduct.
Harry accused his father’s wife, Queen Consort Camilla, of being a villain. Not only that, but he suggested that she was using the media in order to improve her public image.
So the fact that the Sussexes have made damning remarks prior to the Coronation happening could have an impact on how the firm decides to respond.
It has been reported that plans are being made to deal with the fact that the Sussexes may not attend, giving the firm the chance to cover all bases.
As such, the chances of Harry and Meghan upstaging the royals at the Coronation is very slim. So there you have it folks.
