Royal expert Ingrid Seward has stated that members of the monarchy have praised Prince William and Kate Middleton for their choice to not answer the assertions made in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s highly-publicised Netflix documentary.

Harry accused his elder sibling of intimidating him during a meeting concerning Megxit. So much so that he claimed that his brother had shouted and screamed at him in front of his father, King Charles III, and grandma, Queen Elizabeth II, when he had been attempting to negotiate a way to leave the firm.
Meanwhile, Meghan claimed that her first meeting with Kate felt a little ‘jarry’ much to her surprise. And yet, Ingrid made it clear that William and Kate had the support of those around them. In her comments, she said: “Rather than stooping to their level, they have applauded the couple’s decision not to retaliate in any way.”
This should not come as a surprise since it would make sense for the firm to stay united and not add further fuel to the fire. It is also worth bearing in mind that Harry is set to release his upcoming tell-all memoir, Spare, in the New Year.
Therefore, with so many potentially damning revelations that could emerge, it is clear that the focus has been on royal duties. The response on social media was much the same.
A significant proportion of people felt this highlighted the key differences between the Sussexes, who were very vocal in the media, and the firm who were keen on continuing with their duties.
One person wrote: “William and Catherine are the very essence of grace, dignity, respectfulness and patience. God bless them,” while another person stated: “Two brothers – complete opposites. Wives are too. Class and classless.”
