Prince Harry was spotted at the Katy Perry concert this past weekend. He looked bored as his wife, Meghan Markle, was dancing confidently.
What’s so funny about this is that the same thing happened when Harry and Meghan went to see Beyonce’s Renaissance concert. Harry looked bored and disinterested as Meghan was happy and dancing excitedly. Maybe Harry and Meghan have different tastes in music.
Meghan Enjoyed the Concert, But Harry? Not So Much
That being said, in pictures, it seemed like Meghan wanted to be there, while Harry was not amused.
The couple flew to Vegas on a private jet with Cameron Diaz, Cameron’s husband, Benji Madden, and Zoe Saldana to see the “Firework” singer. Pictures of this concert reveal that Harry appeared very downtrodden, complete with a blank face as he stared off into space.
Meghan sat beside him, boogying down to all Perry’s pop songs. Harry had the appearance of being dragged by the hair against his will.
Harry tried to salvage the moment by gently swaying back and forth to the music without any real emotion or feeling behind it. He was swaying mindlessly.
The Duke was also seen looking at his phone often and did not appear to be impressed. A literal party surrounded him, and he couldn’t care less.
Some other pictures showed Meghan beaming from ear to ear, as Harry looked more reserved and even a little tired. Probably bored by all the radio-friendly pop hits being performed by Katy.
Some of Harry and Meghan’s fans, surprisingly they still exist, made some comments about the couple on social media.
“He always looks bored,” someone said. “Meg loves concerts. Harry, however, is a take-or-leave-it kind of prince.”
Others remarked how it was so adorable that Harry was trying so hard. “Ah, so sweet; poor Harry does his best, bless him.”
Katy Perry’s Hurtful Comments About Meghan’s Wedding Dress
This is certainly not the pop singer’s brush with royalty. Katy Perry has performed for King Charles and other royal family members at the Coronation concert.
Meghan must be a fan of Katy Perry’s music, or she may have forgotten Perry’s nasty remarks about her wedding dress.
In May 2018, when Harry and Meghan were married, Katy Perry commented on Meghan’s designer dress, a French house Givenchy design featuring an open bateau neckline and fitted bodice. It was paired with a silk underskirt and Queen Mary’s diamond tiara.
When Perry was asked whether she liked the dress, Katy remarked, “I think I would have done one more fitting.” She also stated that she felt as if Kate Middleton’s dress won. Kate Middleton wore a lace Alexander McQueen wedding dress at her 2011 wedding to Prince William.
Katy Perry’s hurtful words when speaking about Meghan Markle? “Kate won. Kate won. I’m sorry, I will never tell you the truth. One more fitting, but I love you.”
Perry slammed Markle, yet Meghan seemed to enjoy her concert. It shows you the ridiculous spell pop music casts over its fans.
