Forget those reports that say Prince Harry is running away from the royal family and doesn’t ever want to see him again. Instead, it’s been reported that the Duke of Sussex absolutely plans on joining his otherwise estranged brother Prince William at their late mother Princess Diana’s statue unveiling this summer. Here’s what you need to know.
This will be the second time that Harry will be seeing his brother and the rest of the royal family ever since he and Meghan Markle threw everyone under the bus in their epic interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Prince Harry Confirmed To Go Back To The UK
If that weren’t enough, Prince Harry recently said during the Armchair Expert podcast that his father Prince Charles had passed on “pain and suffering” to him while also suggesting that Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip weren’t great parents, either.
“No one is going to tell Harry not to come, but how does he face his family?” a palace source told Page Six.
“Harry’s still coming, we’re told, but how will it all go down?” the source wondered. “Will he just turn up on the day without having seen them beforehand?”
Another source familiar with the royal family added: “Things between Harry and William have been terrible since Megxit, then Harry and Meghan [Markle] gave that nuclear Oprah interview, and now Harry has spoken out again. IT’s just one thing after another.”
Meanwhile, a separate report suggests the royal family is royally pissed over the comments Prince Harry made about Prince Charles’ parenting. Many critics in the UK believe that both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle should give up their royal titles after Harry made his controversial comments.
During the podcast, Harry opened up about living in a privileged environment like the royal family and said that he often felt like he was living in something similar to The Truman Show or the zoo.
