Now that Prince Harry has fulfilled his last joint obligation with his brother Prince William for anytime in the near future, a lot of people can’t help but wonder what is in store for the British Royal Family.
The Duke of Sussex only traveled to London twice so far this year because he had to: once for his grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral and then again for the unveiling of a Princess Diana at Kensington Gardens.
But now that he’s back home in California with his wife Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Harry has no plans or even any intentions on returning back to the UK anytime soon, prompting a lot of critics to wonder: will Harry and William remain as forever foes? Here’s what you need to know.
Prince Harry And Prince William’s Future: Forever Foes? Royal Family’s Foundation Permanently Cracked
Even though Prince Harry came to London with his game face on, sources behind the scenes say that his relationship with his brother Prince William is still strained.
The Duke of Cambridge cannot – and will not – forgive his little brother for the way he and Meghan threw the entire royal family under the bus in their interview with Oprah Winfrey back in March.
If that weren’t enough, Prince Harry also accused their father Prince Charles of being a bad parent by passing down “genetic pain and suffering” to both of his children.
So, what does this mean for Prince Harry and Prince William’s future? Seeing how Harry is thousands of miles away in California and Prince William is in the UK with the rest of the royal family, it doesn’t look like there will be any progress made in their relationship unless they have at least one heart-to-heart conversation with one another.
But seeing how no one has any time for that – or at least they are refusing to make time – that’s not going to happen anytime soon.
With that said, many royal critics and experts believe that the royal family’s foundation might be permanently cracked because of Prince William and Prince Harry’s refusal to sit down and work out their issues. Harry has made it clear that he’s moved on from his royal life, while William is certainly still very tied to it.
