Prince William and Prince Harry are likely to have put their troubles behind them after having met for the unveiling of a statue to honour their late mother, Princess Diana.
Are Prince William And Prince Harry On Good Terms Again?
The pair have been at loggerheads ever since Harry and Meghan Markle decided to drop their controversial interview on CBS. This was exacerbated by claims that Meghan had been bullying members of the Royal family staff.
While William and Harry had attempted to bury the hatchet at Prince Philip’s funerals, there was simply too much water under the bridge. And yet, people within the Royal circle believe now could be the time to put things right.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Royal expert Stewart Pearce spoke on how well the two got on. He said: “I feel that the vibration of it has detonated the essence of peace. By the behaviours that were just so easy, so formal — or informal, rather — so humorous between the two of them.” This would run contrary to the media reports that the pair’s relationship was over for good.
Although it is not clear what they had discussed when they met, Stewart believes that the initial problems were all blown out of proportion. He points to the fact that William and Harry never stated publicly that they would no longer be on speaking terms. In fact, they had always maintained that they cared for each other.
Naturally, it was a case of a dispute being turned into a mutual hatred by the media. He added: “I didn’t believe that there was a rift. There was a slight disagreement, but I mean, who doesn’t disagree with his brother? But…it’s been overly dramatized. They both were so relaxed.”
And by the sounds of it, the unveiling went well. In the picture here, we can see the statue of Diana as William and Harry marvel at it. We are not able to see the duo’s facial expressions, but it is clear that it was an emotional time for them.
