Another setback for Harry and Meghan as Bennett Levine, manager of Archewell Productions, has left the company. In 2021, Omid Scobie praised Levine, saying that his presence in Harry and Meghan’s careers was a
“sign that Archewell was a hive of activity that continues to grow.”
Levine’s Exit From Archewell is a Major Blow
Levine commented on his departure and new opportunity in his post on social media,
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position at Cintec Media, which is a US-based film financing and distribution company.”
A source close to Harry and Meghan says this is a significant loss to Archewell, and the Sussexes had plans and ideas that now will not come to fruition.
When the media interviewed Meghan at Variety’s Power of Women event, she seemed so happy and confident, exclaiming that she and Prince Harry had
“so many exciting things on the slate to announce.”
Meghan declared
“I want to make things that make people feel. I was going to say good, but it’s more than that, things that make people feel something, right? And feel a sense of community.”
After that, no one heard another word about these so-called “exciting” projects that Meghan claimed she had lined up. Meghan has had a rough time integrating back into Hollywood life, as no opportunities or projects have been offered her.
There was a lot of talk that Levine would help the Sussexes score television programs and films. Like so many other plans the Sussexes have had recently, it never came to pass.
During the time Levine spent working with the Sussexes, he co-produced several projects for the royal renegades, and one of them is their Netflix documentary series, creatively named “Harry and Meghan.”
Harry and Meghan Need to Bring Their A-Game to Their Potential Upcoming Projects
Spotify terminated Meghan’s deal due to a lack of interest in the content she was producing. Spotify and Meghan “parted ways” prematurely, and a company executive called Harry and Meghan “f***ing grifters.”
There are also rumors that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are preparing to terminate their contract with Netflix in favor of working with Paramount Pictures.
Paramount boss Brian Robbins invited the Duke and Duchess to the Bob Marley movie “One Love” premiere. They went to Jamacia with Robbins, so there is speculation this could prove lucrative for Harry and Meghan.
It is very convenient for the couple who will search for new, sustainable income once their other deals inevitably fall through.
Unfortunately, they were also photographed with the Prime Minister of Jamacia, Andrew Holness, who is very much anti-monarchy.
Another rumor swirling is that Netflix is about to cut Harry and Meghan loose. They may not be renewing their deal with them. The agreement is set to end in 2025.
Whatever the Duke and Duchess choose, they must put 100 percent of their energy into it. They are known in the industry for being lazy and not bringing their A-game to the table with their projects.
The loss of Levine is a significant blow to Archewell and Harry and Meghan. Like many other failed projects, they will need a lifeline or drown very soon.
