President Joe Biden has reportedly privately told Barack Obama that he’s running for re-election in 2024, claiming he’s serious about winning a second term. Biden is already 79-years-old, the old president ever and would be 86 if he were to complete a second term.
The Hill first reported on Biden’s discussions with Obama, citing two sources. One source said Biden “wants to run and he’s clearly letting everyone know.”
“I believe he thinks he’s the only one who can beat [former President Donald] Trump. I don’t think he thinks there’s anyone in the Democratic Party who can beat Trump and that’s the biggest factor,” the person said.

Biden’s approval ratings continue to fall and right now sit at just 41%. Ironically, he took office after winning ‘the most votes ever’ of any candidate in United States history. However, the mood is quickly changing, and we’re tired of his blunders, inflation and raising gas prices.
Not to mention his declining mental state. If you’re a Biden supporter and claim that you have no idea what I’m talking about, take a step back and analyze the things he does and says (or doesn’t do or say). He is not all there, and time after time, after time, he continues to showcase his potential dementia.
Biden needs to step down, either during this term or decline running for a second term. It is really said. Honestly. The man is being taken advantage of, being puppeteered around by his wife, vice president and others in his cabinet. It’s not funny anymore (not that it ever was), but things are getting to a serious low point in our country.
“Anyone but Trump” has gotten us to this point. I get it, you don’t have to be a Trump fan, but to give us this old, frail ghost isn’t better for us. In fact, statistically, it’s much worse.
Sit down, Joe. Retire. Go sit in a cozy home in New England and sip tea by the fire. We need a new wave of political leaders.
