President Joe Biden was enjoying a walk on the beach when he was cornered by reporters and asked about a possible recession. One reporter said to the president, “economists are saying a recession is even more likely than ever.” Biden quickly retorted, “Not the majority of them aren’t saying that, come on don’t make things up, okay?” He continued, “Now you’re sounding like a Republican politician.”
While Biden “cleared the air” and said it was a joke, he really just seemed angry and quick to say that actually, everything is hunky dory. Of course, Americans know that isn’t the case as it’s not just gas we’re paying more for, but everything.

Viewers reacted to Biden’s response saying, “If he can’t handle though questions like a true president then he should resign”, “funny how we never see the huge crown of fans turned out to see their beloved President”, “What Joe really means is that it won’t just be a recession, he’s going for a full blown depression.”, “Unfortunately we’re never going to get back to normal as a country until this guy is out of office” and “Joe thinks if he gets mad and denies a recession is coming enough times, it’ll never happen. I think that’s his logic on a lot of things.”
While we’re all paying an absurd amount of money on food, gas and shelter, our basic needs, we’re continuing to be told that nothing is going on and everything is awesome. Meanwhile, it looks like we’re treading dangerously close to a recession and to make things worse, it looks like we’re not going to be prepared at all if it does happen.
