Heard has taken the stand once again this week to tell her side of the story in her tumultuous marriage with Depp. Heard said it was the couple’s teacup Yorkshire terrier that messed the bed and that it had a history of bowel problems ever since it had accidentally ingested Depp’s marijuana.
Amber Heard Says She Did Not Poop In Her Marital Bed, Blames Feces On Her Dog Boo Boo
“Absolutely not,” she said about the alleged poop prank. “I don’t think that’s funny. I don’t know what grown woman does. I was not in a pranking mood.”
Back in 2020, it was reported that Depp was so sullen and disgusted upon discovering the poop in his bed that he wanted the pooper identified immediately with a DNA test. His property manager, Kevin Murphy, told London’s High Court that despite laughing off the incident at first and nicknaming his wife ‘Amber Turd,’ he still wanted the matter investigated.
“At that stage, I believe he suggested getting the feces DNA tested to see where they had come from,” Murphy told the court.
Amber, meanwhile, was left upset over the matter because it led to more marital strife between her and her husband Johnny at the time. “My wife left a whopper poop on my bed. Amber Turd,” he wrote in one, while another said, “I’ve been through a whole lot of s–t with her…”
“She also told me that leaving the feces in Mr. Depp’s bed had been ‘just a harmless prank,’” Murphy said. Depp is suing Heard for $50 million over an article she wrote in The Washington Post where she claimed to be a victim of domestic abuse, without naming her ex-husband. He claims he lost work, most notably in Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, due to the article.
