Investigators discovered evidence of Aaron Carter‘s addiction to huffing compressed air at the scene of his death, which indicates that he was definitely battling with it.
According to law enforcement sources, Aaron’s bathroom and bedroom contained numerous cans of compressed air as well as prescription medications. Although it’s unclear if that’s what led to his drowning, it’s unquestionably a significant hint as to what might have happened.
Aaron was last seen alive at 2 AM on Friday. According to reports, Aaron’s live-in maid heard a tap at 2 AM and answered; she claimed that police had arrived to check on Aaron’s welfare but it is unclear who had made the call. The door was opened by the housekeeper, and when Aaron saw what was happening, he asked them to leave and told the housekeeper not to bother him.
The housekeeper reportedly didn’t see Aaron all day on Friday, but on Saturday morning she knocked on his door to ask if he wanted coffee. When she unlocked the door after hearing his dog barking hysterically in the bedroom, she discovered Aaron’s body in the bathtub.
Police Find Compressed Air At Aaron Carter’s Death Scene, Could Point To What Happened
The smell of decay and the unusual color of the water led police to suspect that Aaron’s body had been in the tub for some time. The jets in the bathtub were reportedly still operating when Aaron’s body was discovered. Police were called to Aaron’s home in the L.A. region on Saturday following a drowning report. The 911 call’s dispatch audio showed a chaotic situation inside Aaron’s house and described a “female yelling” for assistance. That was the housekeeper, so we’re informed.
The L.A. County Coroner’s Office has declared Aaron’s cause of death to be unknown until toxicology reports are received, which could take months. No suicide note was reportedly discovered, and there were no indications of wrongdoing.
