It seems like some royal reporters are rather choosy about what royal scandals they want or don’t want to write about. A lot of critics are calling Piers Morgan a massive hypocrite for seemingly ignoring the Prince Michael of Kent scandal while making it his hobby of slamming Meghan Markle on a daily basis.
Reports over the weekend say that an undercover investigation disclosed that prince Michael of Kent is allegedly selling his access to Vladimir Putin’s Russian regime to business clients seeking favors from the Kremlin.
Piers Morgan Called A Massive Hypocrite Over Prince Michael Of Kent Scandal
While Piers Morgan has made somewhat of a mini-career of bashing Meghan Markle on almost a daily basis, he only had a few words to say about the Prince Michael of Kent scandal.
He posted an article about it from The Sunday Times and said, “Shocking behavior by Prince Michael of Kent. Shameless, sleazy & a very serious abuse of his royal status, not to mention a potential threat to our national security. The Queen must take firm action against him.”
Even though the scandal made headlines on Saturday, Piers waited until Sunday to say something about it on Twitter. After all, he did dedicate an entire column about how he believes Meghan Markle should be the last person to write a children’s book.
Of course, it didn’t take long at all for his critics to call him out and suggest that he is a major hypocrite, especially when it comes to the royal family.
Many comments included, “I’m sure you will be writing 150 articles in the DM attacking him at every opportunity on an almost daily basis from now on…,” along with, “Why are Royals so protected? They should be subject to the law like everyone else. Being Royal is not a passage to do what the hell you like. Its 2021 now.”
Another critic wrote, “I’m assuming you’re writing a column about it, or is it not as despicable as writing a children’s book? He won’t write one. He only tweeted disapproval to not look like a hypocrite but too late.”
