British Royal Family News find that before Meghan Markle and her wayward family came onto the scene, the tabloids were mostly focusing on Kate Middleton and her wayward family instead.
As a matter of fact, Kate’s uncle Gary Goldsmith, who has had his fair share of embarrassing headlines from the past, has a few things to say about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey, which aired earlier this month. Here’s what you need to know.
Just like Piers Morgan, Gary doesn’t believe a word Meghan said during her tell-all, in which she revealed that she experienced suicidal thoughts during her pregnancy in 2018.

Gary also says that he doesn’t believe that his niece Kate Middleton made Meghan Markle cry during their alleged dust up before Harry and Meghan’s wedding in 2018.
Gary told the Mail on Sunday, “I’ve known Kate since she was born and she doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. It’s just simply not in her nature. She’s even lovelier on the inside than on the outside.
If anyone had a hissy fit, it must have been Meghan. Kate would have been trying to make the peace. I would fight for Kate’s honor until the day I die. She is the most spectacular person I’ve ever met.”
If that weren’t enough, Gary also said he didn’t believe anything else Meghan said during the interview, including her claim that the royal family did not help prepare her for her role as the Duchess of Sussex.
“When Meghan first entered the Royal Family, I was made up for Harry,” he said. “Like the rest of the country, it seemed she was the real deal and it was a marriage made in heaven. But what has happened is heartbreaking. I don’t blame Meghan – she’s a Hollywood starlet. You can’t blame a tiger for biting the head off a sheep. But I don’t believe a word that comes out of her mouth. She’s an actress and knows how to manipulate her audience. I don’t believe for a second she had to Google the words to the National Anthem. Harry has been singing it since the age of five.”
So far Meghan Markle herself has not made any comments about the criticism.
