Peacock ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers for January 16th reveal Will Horton (Chandler Massey) just got some intel that could change things at Casa Kiriakis. Meanwhile, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) might have just created the very problem he wanted to avoid. Plus, we’ll see Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) in for a surprise. Here’s what you need to know.

Peacock ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers For January 16: Big reveal

First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate despite his talk with Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker), Will still doesn’t approve of the friendship between Sonny and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart). And it looks like the Soap Gods agree, because Will is about to stumble upon everything he needs to sink Leo. And all because Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) forgot something at home. Of course, we sort of blame Leo for Will’s good fortune. Why he thought it was a good idea to continue that conversation in the Horton home is beyond us. People really need to learn to take their plotting to more secure places.

Peacock ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers For January 16: Self-fulfilling prophecy

Elsewhere, we can’t exactly blame Alex for messing up like he did with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein). He’s new to this whole relationship thing, and so he got way too insecure. Not that that excuses him turning off Stephanie’s phone, but we can understand why he might have been worried about Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). As we mentioned before, it didn’t see like a purely friendly moment when Chad was massaging Stephanie’s ankle. At least, not on his part.

Now that Stephanie knows the truth and has kicked Alex to the curb, guess who’s going to be there to offer a shoulder to cry on? You guessed it—Chad. And we’re pretty sure he is not going to let this opportunity pass him by. He’s clearly interested in Stephanie still, and while we don’t expect him to purposefully put the moves on her, we do see where he won’t exactly turn down more time by her side. Which, considering they’re both grieving a huge loss in their lives, it feels inevitable comforting words will turn to something much more.

Peacock ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers For January 16: Change of heart?

Finally, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers bring us a real stumper. Teasers are hinting that Sarah might be shocked by Bonnie Lockhart’s (Judi Evans) thoughts on Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). The only way we think she’d be surprised is if Bonnie were to encourage Sarah to give him another chance. At the very least, it sounds like she’s not quite as angry about the kidnapping as when she punched Xander.
