Who knew Orlando Bloom and Prince Harry were such good friends? Well, apparently they are also good neighbors as the Duke of Sussex recently revealed that the Hollywood star often sends him text messages warning him about the paparazzi that is usually camped out on their street, hoping to get a photo of Harry, Meghan Markle and their family. Here’s what he has to say.
Speaking to Dax Shepard on his Armchair Expert podcast, Harry said that Orlando acknowledged that the paparazzi’s behavior at times is certainly not normal. Orlando lives down the street from the Sussexes with his fiancé Katy Perry and their daughter, Daisy.

Two days ago Orlando Bloom sent me a message, because he is just down the road and we sort of keep in contact because of the paparazzi,” the royal revealed. “He sent me a photograph which his security got of this long-haired guy with a beanie on, ear pods on with his massive camera lying in the back of his 4×4 truck, blacked out windows.”
Prince Harry added, “A woman driving who did the peace sign sitting there as a distraction and he is laid down in the back of this truck taking photographs of them out with their kid. How is that normal, how is that acceptable?”
Despite the paparazzi constantly hounding celebrity families, Prince Harry says that he doesn’t regret his move to California.
He said, “Here, I can actually lift my head and I feel different. My shoulders have dropped, so has hers. You walk around feeling a little bit more free. I get to take Archie on the back of my bicycle. I never had the chance to do that.”
