Genie Exum, who is best known for being an OnlyFans/Instagram model, has been arrested on the grounds of apparently stabbing her boyfriend.

The incident occurred after the victim, Frances Amor, had called the police in order to inform them that he had been stabbed in the arm and back with a knife following a dispute with Genie.
Frances was immediately taken to hospital, and luckily for him, he was not seriously injured. Given that he is in good spirits, the authorities have issued an order preventing Genie from speaking to Frances.
This is understandable as she will pose a threat to him, but also it is very likely that their relationship is over. After all, how can they come back from this stabbing incident?
In the meantime, Genie was taken away and charged with assault. The influencer has been released on bail but has yet to comment on the incident in-depth for several reasons.
First of all, Genie’s career as a model is likely to be over if she has done what is claimed. No significant brand will want to work with a model that has been associated with such a violent incident.
And on reflection, it is the most likely outcome when we look at her social media presence. Genie, for her part, is not exactly a household name. She has a reported 40,000 followers on Instagram, something which is likely to decline following this event.
Secondly, Genie’s behaviour in response to her arrest was very distasteful. Rather than showing any remorse or request that the fans show her some support, she chose to do something else entirely: play the victim card.
By doing so, she has only alienated her fanbase further. In a post on Instagram, she simply said: “They took my phone y’all I’m on the trap rn,” in reference to being in the police station.
Genie has certainly left an impression with her fans, but unfortunately for her, it was a very bad one. Whether her career will ever be as successful as it could have been is anyone’s guess. But on current reflection, she has done significant damage to it.
