Former UFC star Ronda Rousey is loving life as a mother, and much like her fighting career, she had a lot to say on how a mother should act.
Ronda Rousey Breastfeeds On Instagram-‘It’s Really Nothing To Be Ashamed Of’
Ronda, for her part, welcomed the arrival of her daughter La’akeam just last month. And given that her fighting days look to be over, she is focused on being the best possible mother that she can be regardless of what the critics have to say.
And so it showed, as Ronda joined a whole host of celebrities who have shown themselves as breastfeeding their children on social media. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Ronda shared a picture of herself breastfeeding her daughter.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “Our boys asked me the other day how I’m gunna feed Pō on the plane when we take her with us to Hawaii.
“And I was like “uhhh, same way I always do. Motherhood’s some badass, primal, beautiful shit that shouldn’t be hidden.”
Clearly, she is loving life. And why would she not be after the challenges she has been through? After all, she is in a steady family unit. Ronda married her husband, Travis Browne, in 2017, and the duo have never looked back since.
Although there were concerns over whether the couple would last in the long term, these worries have been dispelled given that they have children together. This has taught Ronda not to care about what people think.
She added: “It still blows my mind that my body assembled this little person, pushed her out and now makes everything she needs to thrive. It’s really nothing to be ashamed of, it’s something to brag about.”
The future looks very bright for Ronda. Her UFC days may be over, but she has been dabbling in the wrestling world through some sporadic appearances in WWE at Wrestlemania in 2019.
It is not clear whether she will look to make further appearances, but regardless of what she decides to do, the fans will support her every step of the way. And we wish her the best with things going forward.
