Talk about airing someone’s dirty laundry, right? Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis have released a joint statement after their former nanny detailed their alleged tumultuous relationship before they went their separate ways. Here’s what you need to know.
The former couple, who share two children together, split in November 2020 – and there’s since been tension between the two, with the Ted Lasso actor serving the star custody papers while she was on stage presenting at Cinemacon. But the famous exes are putting up a united front against the unnamed woman who gave an interview to the Daily Mail, claiming Sudeikis found texts between Wilde and her now boyfriend Harry Styles, leaving him heartbroken, and that she was also fired without severance pay.

In a joint statement to E! News, Wilde and Sudeikis said: “As parents, it is incredibly upsetting to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to make such false and scurrilous accusations about us publicly.”
They added the nanny launched a “now 18-month long campaign of harassing us, as well as loved ones, close friends and colleagues,” and the allegations have “reached its unfortunate apex. We will continue to focus on raising and protecting our children with the sincere hope that she will now choose to leave our family alone,” they said.
The nanny’s claims suggest Wilde and Styles began their relationship while she was still married to Sudeikis, but the Don’t Worry Darling director has refuted those claims. Wilde previously told Vanity Fair that her relationship with Sudeikis, with whom she shares daughter Daisy, 5, and son Otis, 8, ended long before her romance with Styles began.
Further, in the explosive interview, the nanny also alleges Sudeikis once laid under Wilde’s car to prevent her from leaving during an argument, while adding, in a bizarre claim, he was very upset she’d made a special salad dressing to take to a dinner with Styles.
