Nothing like a tragedy to take CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers minds off a victory, and we’re willing to bet two tragedies will do even better.

Sometimes it’s the little things that bring us joy and terror, and in many cases they happen expectantly.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 20: Back in the seat

Once again, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will assume control and make sure everything’s handled as he sees fit, but the difference this time is it’s going to involve his daughter and not the company.

We’ve given him plenty of grief for how he treats his family, but when the family business isn’t the issue he moves them from the pawn category to the loved ones section and that’s the Victor we’re going to see here.

Similar to when Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) was stabbed with the magically growing knife that reached from her kidneys to her heart and lungs, he’ll be at her side to ensure she gets the best medical care.

With all the fracturing of the family that’s happened, there has to be a moment to bring everyone together and under his influence once more, so here we are.

But ‘Young and the Restless’ think it’s going to involve more than Victoria.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 20: Something’s familiar

Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) won’t be able to shake the feeling that something’s wrong. She’s experienced this before, and it’s going to have her on edge.

The problem is, and this is just our theory, that while Victoria was on the phone she was swerving. While she may or may not have hit a tree, there’s the other driver to consider as well.

And we think it was Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and she ran him off the road. Since it was announced he’s leaving the show, it makes sense that he’ll either be killed or seriously injured.

Either way, it’ll open up other storylines involved in his life and create more strife for Victoria, who will then rely on her father all the more.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 20: Sally’s surprise

While the Newmans are stressing over Victoria, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be waiting for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to arrive, and she’s going to have a pleasant surprise for him to celebrate.

And since Adam’s phone will probably be off, his absence when Victor tries to call him about Victoria will create another schism in the family.

Is this where we say goodbye to Rey? Let us know below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
