‘Days of Our Lives (DOOL)’ spoilers reveal #Cin is pretty much done—for now, anyway. Recent episodes found Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) not remembering who Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) is. Worse yet, she took off with Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson). Let’s take a look at what’s next, and why we’re torn on a certain angle.

First, Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate Ciara really did it now. The weekly preview video shows Ben getting divorce papers. This is going to be one hard blow for a guy who was desperate to make her remember. It will likely take away what little hope for him and Ciara he had. But will it also lead to a big mess? Let’s take a look.

Recently, we were checking out a DOOL group online. Someone posted some Days of Our Lives spoilers in the form of a picture. It clearly looked to be from Soap Opera Digest, and it told quite the story. In the picture, Ben and Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) were kissing.
This is sure to be a big blow to #Cin fans, as welcome news for those who are over the pairing. We’re seeing both sides of that argument, and the writers have to come up with something to do while Ciara’s away. But we think they’re making a bit of a mistake here.

So, say a lot of the fanbase doesn’t care that Ben and Claire share a moment. Whether or not they feel #Cinner wrath, we’re not sure this is a good story arc. There are a few reasons for that. For one, we get that Ben might be feeling hopeless right now.
But we still can’t see him acting on this. At least, not for a long time. We’d imagine he wouldn’t be interested in going there, even if it’s a “forget the pain” situation. It’s Claire, after all, and this will make life a bit complicated and awkward for him going forward. Especially if others find out.
Two, we think this doesn’t speak well of Claire if she gives in, as it looked like in the picture. She already was smarting over Ciara calling her out over stealing a boyfriend. We think Claire would be horrified at the idea of kissing someone who once was with Ciara—even if Ciara doesn’t remember. If she doesn’t, we think this undermines the character development she’s gone through.
At best, we can hope for a lot of guilt ahead on her part, as well as conflict on Ben’s. And if they do take it there and these two become a thing? Well, that’s not pointing to the positive hints the PtB have put out there about the Ben/Ciara pairing. Seeing Ciara maybe remember and come home to see Ben with someone else doesn’t sound like something fans would find satisfying.
Nor does a drawn out story of them hiding what may or may not happen between them. Hopefully, this looks worse than it is and the writers will surprise us. But with all the heartbreak hookups happening lately, we’re not betting on that.
