NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers for May 26th reveal there’s trouble ahead for John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). So, we saw the rescue of John happen on Monday. Of course, there were reservations as to whether Orpheus (George DelHoyo) would actually make good on his promise to release John. In fact, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) went with Marlena to ensure things would go as planned. It sort of worked.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate Steve had the foresight to get special tech from the ISA to taze Orpheus and bring him into custody. However, it seemed Orpheus both planned to comply and didn’t. On Tuesday, he will have one last trick up his sleeve for Marlena and John. It’s that bomb we saw underneath the couch at their home. We expect these two to live, obviously, but get ready for a nail-biter.

Meanwhile, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal we left on a bit on another cliffhanger yesterday. While Orpheus was getting caught, Rafe, Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso), and Zoey Burge (Alyshia Ochse) were in a standoff. She’s being blackmailed with her own son. This led to Hope eventually jumping for a gun. On Tuesday, we’ll learn Rafe is the one who was shot. Considering he’s supposed to leave, there is a chance this could ultimately be a fatal injury. However, we’re seeing another possibility. Given Zoey, his opponent in the custody case, threatened a former and current police commissioner, plus aided and abetted a fugitive who kidnapped a child, it’s not looking good for her. It will take a miracle for any member of that family to win custody. That leaves Rafe the presumed winner and we think he’ll decide to take David elsewhere. Maybe to avoid Orpheus finding them. It’s very possible that bomb was an insurance policy. That he’ll use his knowledge of a danger to two major Salem residents as a bargaining chip to gain freedom. We’ll have to wait and see if that comes to pass.

In related news, we’ll see Justin angrily confront Orpheus. Actually, we’re pretty sure he’ll do more than that. He had a gun in hand when we least saw him, and he looked angry enough to kill. We think his only chance of Justin not shooting is for him to reveal there’s a danger to John and Marlena and only he knows where it is.

With so much drama going on, you gotta get a little relief. Are we right? No worries, because WilSon is here. Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) will share a romantic night. Of course, we do worry that Justin’s previously-mentioned situation could interrupt and spoil the good vibes.
