NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers indicate Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) is back. It was a long time in coming, and we’re still not sure how we feel about this. Princess Gina (Alfonso) is a character best taken in small doses. But Hope can irritate at times. She isn’t the best commissioner, and her stories haven’t struck us as interesting usually. But is a change ahead? Here’s what you need to know.

We think that cold front somewhere is really serious. Because we started feeling bad for her on Wednesday. Yes, that’s right. And we’re confused, too. Not only did Hope find out she lost over a year, but now she’s dealing with the fact Gina is the one who pushed Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) off that balcony. She’s devastated by the though, and can’t take the idea of having done even more damage while Gina was in control. It’s a terrible position to be in, and we think this will open up some possibilities for Hope.

Well, it’s hard to say in some respect. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal she’s just been through a big trauma. So we don’t see her going back to work any time soon. It’s possible she might not feel worthy of her job title. Also, we think there’s a lot of atoning in her future. We expect her to go out of her way trying to make all the damage Gina did right. This will surely include a lot of apologies to Jennifer, even long after she’s had enough of listening to them. She’ll probably also spend a lot of time reconnecting with Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) and will be horrified at what Ciara’s been through lately. She might even step in to help as much as she can in getting Ben free. Which, he should be getting out of Statesville before too long. Whatever happens, we’re sure Alfonso will do great with it.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Time to shine!
Again, we haven’t been the biggest fans of Hope. But Alfonso really shined yesterday. The scene where she learned about Gina and Jennifer was done well. Just enough emotion to strike us as real and genuine, but it wasn’t over the top. It made you feel for this character, and want her to overcome this.
At the same time, she showed a level of smarts and intuitiveness that has been lacking in the character. Watching her put the pieces together as Jennifer and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) stumbled over telling her the truth was a welcome departure from what we’d seen before.
