Netflix is coming out with another documentary, this time focusing on the mob run New York City of the ’70s and ’80s. The documentary is called ‘Fear City: New York vs The Mafia’ and is a play on the New York City nickname, Fun City. It will follow along with detectives as they attempted to bug and bring down five of the mob families running New York at the same time!
According to the description of the trailer,
“In the 70s, New York was owned by the Mob. From the producers of Don’t F**k With Cats, comes the inside story of the rise and fall of New York’s most powerful Mafia families and the end of the golden era of the Mob. With the full might of the FBI and an army of undercover agents, witness the bugging, the investigation, and the era-defining conclusion of the historic Mafia Commission Trial that changed everything.”

People in the comments are thrilled about the newest trailer released from Netflix, as they’ve been hitting it out of the park lately with all of their content. Comments ranged from things like, “By now I believe Netflix has like a thousand unreleased content”, “Now THIS should be good.”, and “Netflix has a vault full of content for end of the world situations like this.” Whether or not Netflix has been sitting on all this content, no one knows, but we’ll happily take it.
