NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers indicate now that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) has finally opened up her arms and her heart to Xander Cook (Paul Telfer), is there a chance that we might see a different side to his personality? Up until now, he has been a rather dangerous figure in Salem. But could Sarah’s influence change him or better yet, make him into one of the ‘good guys?’ Here’s what you need to know.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Paul Telfer, who plays Xander Cook on the hit NBC soap says that while his character might show a ‘softer’ side to his character, don’t expect him to change altogether. That’s because while Xander might be totally in love with Sarah, he still has a job to do for Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston).

Paul tells the publication, “I know it’s such a cliché, especially a soap cliché, that the love of a good woman will make the bad boy go good, but that’s not really what Sarah’s been doing. It’s not Sarah’s love that made Xander a better person. It’s Xander’s desire to become someone that somebody like Sarah could love that has almost by accident improved him as a person.”

Either way, rest assured that Sarah does love the man, despite all of his faults. But at the end of the day, Xander will have a choice to make. Does he wants to continue doing the job that he has been given by the Kiriakis family patriarch, or does he want to start all over with a new family life of his own? Needless to say, ‘Days of Our Lives’ fans will find out soon enough!
