NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal we haven’t been huge fans of what’s going on with Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal). We think he’s straight trash taking advantage of a woman that doesn’t know any better right now.
And yes, we admit to being easier on Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) of GH for a similar plot. However, the GH writers have made her motivations and obvious conflict far more complex and understandable, even as we disagree with what she’s doing. Let’s take a look at how another Salem resident has failed to do the right thing in this situation.

So, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Ciara is stuck a few years in the past, meaning she hates Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) as much as she despises Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson). In the meantime, Theo and Ciara have been getting closer.
In fact, she announced to Ben on Thursday she’s planning to leave for South Africa to stay with him. Not only that, she made a point of saying she and Theo are more than friends. We wrote a bit about how we think that’s going to backfire on her later. However, there’s another person we’re blaming for this mess now.

Recently, Ben went to Claire and expressed his concerns for what’s going on. So, Claire asked Theo over to talk about the situation. We’ll give her a little credit. She did get pretty matter-of-fact in pointing out he’s going for a married woman right now. She warned him this is a mistake, which Theo tried to justify. Here’s where Claire loses us.

As much as Claire did try, she didn’t try hard enough. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal that Theo tried to justify this whole “giving things a try” situation, as well as their pending escape to South Africa.
His reasoning? It was her idea. Seriously. We couldn’t. In Ciara’s condition, that is not an excuse, and Claire should have pointed that out. It’s essentially like saying, someone was drunk, so taking their wallet or violating them in some other way is a-okay.
Ciara is clearly torn here, even if she won’t admit it to herself. We think some of what Ben showed her and said to her got under her skin, and she’s lashing out and making these decisions out of fear and rebellion.
For Claire not to point this out is bad enough. But then she went on about worrying that Theo will get hurt when Ciara eventually gets her memories back. What about how Ciara will hurt when she realizes what she’s done?
What about how she might feel taken advantage of, should things go too far between them? Theo is in the wrong, and it’s obvious he knows it. Claire, in our opinion, should have pushed harder and pointed out how badly this could mess Ciara up later. But she didn’t, so we’ll just have to wait for the massive fallout to come.
