So, let’s catch up a second. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal that once Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) came back, it was inevitable that there would be an issue with Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) and Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth). We never watched a single moment of this show until a couple of years ago, and we knew that Steve and Kayla is the goal. An iconic pair that is destined to be together. However, we think some of these characters are making a huge mistake by forcing it.
Kayla is with Justin, and was happy with him. They’ve been a great source of strength and comfort to each other, so we don’t see any reason for either one to change that right now. They’re both clearly in rebound mode, and Kayla is still clearly dealing with conflicting emotions. That’s why we think it’s best to leave them be and let them realize this on their own, in their own time. But this is a soap, so obviously, people have to bring the drama.

There’s where Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer come in. They’re just the latest in a list of people who are questioning this newest pairing and trying to sway both Steve and Kayla. While Jack said his piece and decided to back off, Jennifer didn’t. She went on about how Steve and Kayla need to be together, and if Steve won’t tell the truth about his feelings, she will. Rightfully, Jack seemed a bit annoyed by this and suggested she stay out of it. Here’s why we think he is right and she needs to take that advice.

With every new development in this story, Justin gets more insecure and he pushes harder. Kayla, as well. We think that had everyone just stayed out of it from the beginning, this would have fizzled out and Kayla would’ve ended up back with Steve. As it stands now, we think both Kayla and Justin will be digging their heels in more the more they’re pressured.
Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves)’s backed off—for now. But we wonder if she’s really. We wouldn’t be surprised to see her go behind Kayla’s and Jack’s backs to sabotage this wedding. This could seriously backfire on her. Not only could Kayla see that as a betrayal, it might make her even more determined to jump into a marriage she’s clearly not 100% jumping for joy about. While it’s good to look out for your friends, sometimes the best thing you can do for someone is let them make their own mistakes. It’s not like Kayla’s doing anything dangerous or harmful for her health. It’s Salem. Weddings and divorces are practically the town sport.
