NBC ‘Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers finds that as we all know, Isabella Toscano (Staci Greason) has been gone a long time from the Salem Landscape. She died in 1992 and we’ve missed her but her son Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) lives on and we get to see a tiny bit of Isabella peek through every now and again. But one has to wonder just how Isabella would feel about the fact that cougar Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk) has her hooks into her son and has now produced a daughter with him that bears her name! I mean… let’s look at Kristen’s track record.

For one there is the squicky little detail that Kristen actually used to date John Black (Drake Hogestyn), Brady’s Dad and for all intents and purposes, Isabella’s husband! The only woman she ever openly gave permission to touch him was Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and then only after she was gone! So I’m sure that at the very least, that would cause some tension between these two ladies. If not an outright brawl. Also, John is going to feel pretty awkward explaining how not even two years after her death he practically met and married another woman that had no ‘right’ to him!

Forgive my ignorance but I really don’t remember how Isabella reacted to Stefano DiMera (Steven Nichols), alas I was too young, but I am pretty sure that she heard the name from John at least on the odd occassion. Knowing all the pain that Stefano out John through by wiping him of his identity and causing all the strife with the whole Marlena/John/Isabella thing, things are not looking good for Kristen. A mother’s intuition is a powerful thing and Kristen just be facing an uphill battle she couldn’t win if Isabella herself was still in the picture. If Isabella told Brady to stay away from Isabella (say, if she had survived and been with him all those years), then there’s a good chance he would listen. After all, he did that when she visited him regarding Chloe Lane.

I am pretty sure that Isabella would be thrilled to know that she and John have a grandchild out there somewhere. She would have been over the moon about it. However knowing that she came out of Kristen would be quite a hard pill to swallow. So much in fact that it may make Carly Cornthos (Laura Wright) and Nelle Benson Archer’s (Chloe Lanier) current battle over in Port Charles look like child’s play. Either way, I am pretty sure that Isabella would make a fearsome mother-in-law and a loving Grandmother. Although sadly it is not to be. Maybe her Ghost will return and punk Kristen one day. That would be interesting! Stay tuned!!!
