NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers update indicate that Zoey Burge (Alyschia Ocshe) will let on that there is far more to last Mother’s day when Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) supposedly took a life at the wheel. As it turns out, Maggie wasn’t actually the one responsible! Remember that dreadful secret that Orpheus (George DelHoyo) was making Evan Frears/Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) hold onto? Welp, this is it! This is how Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will find out too, because Zoey is a loud mouth but hey! Looks like this gets Maggie off the hook! She didn’t do any drunk driving at all as it turns out she was chloroformed and put into the driver’s seat with the booze bottle by Orpheus! Wow.

Poor Maggie doesn’t know this so she will continue to be wracked by guilt but she will be able to spend some of those guilt-ridden moments with daughter Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). Sarah will tell her about having to hand over baby Rachel Isabella Black to Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk) and how painful that was. Maggie will express her condolences, but she really doesn’t believe that there is anything that she can do or say to make her daughter feel any better, because she feels like not only did she kill the real little baby Mickey Horton but she killed Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) as well.

Sarah does ultimately end up forgiving Maggie and even tells her she doesn’t know what she would do without her in her life (awww!), but it’s pretty clear that Maggie has reached her breaking point. She will get a letter to hubby Victor Kiriakis (Jon Aniston) who is in the hospital right now and essentially bid him farewell, that’s right, Maggie is suicidal! However it looks like her rescue might come in the form of an unlikely source, and that will be Xander Cook (Paul Telfer), so maybe he can be useful for once, I mean, it’s about time he did something productive, wouldn’t you say?

Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will be at each other’s throats once Eric finds out what went down in Paris. Brady will say that he encouraged Kristen to run away with their baby and Eric will be angry because that now means that neither he nor Sarah can be a part of the baby’s life. Eric will feel that that is unfair because for the first year of her life he and Sarah were devoted parents and they even helped the kid through cancer, however, the only thing Brady was after was making sure that Kristen got to be with her little girl. Ot looks like Brady won’t be making any apologies anytime soon so it will be ultimately up to Nicole to soothe Eric’s wrath.

Meanwhile looks like Orpheus is up to his old tricks again and has taken John Black (Drake Hogestyn) hostage. He will them go over to the office of Dr. Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) and negotiate terms for John’s release. It looks like this is going to involve a ton of money which Marlena must secure or else John is going to die an excruciating death. He also has plans to kidnap little David Ridgeway (Caleb and Kyler Ends) by Monday so woops. Marlena has a lot to worry about, will she be able to save John or is it curtains for Jarlena?
