NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal we were sure Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) was about to make a huge mistake. Thanks to Jake Lambert’s (Brandon Barash) advice, he tried to sneak that memory serum in Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal). Here’s how it went wrong, and what we see happening later with Ciara.

Okay, we’ll be real here. Most of the trouble today was Ben’s own fault. Like most characters in soap world, he’s not very efficient when pulling off something big like this. The smart thing to do would be to get in and get out as fast as possible. Possibly mix it with her IV. However, he did the exact opposite.
Not only did he plan to inject it directly into her arm, but he actually picked her arm up and held it a minute. Plus, he talked to a sleeping Ciara about what he was about to do and why, basically. Bad move. He wasted just enough time that Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) entered the room just in time to stop him. And it got ugly.

Now, Ben’s got more problems. Ciara is more convinced than ever Ben is a sick, twisted man who she wants nothing to do with. This was reinforced when he tried to push his way past Theo to give injecting Ciara another try.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate that Theo hasn’t exactly been an upstanding sort with Ciara’s condition. And this gave a great opening. She was so shaken by the experience that they got way too close.
It remains to be seen whether Theo will have any regrets after a kiss, but teasers for later episodes aren’t giving us much hope he’ll turn himself around here. So, what does this mean for Ciara?
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Looking ahead
We’ll admit that we really felt for Ben and cringed during Ciara’s (justified) meltdown. She has no memory of the past few years, so she has no idea how reckless she’s been willing to get in the name of her love for Ben.
Still, knowing what we viewers know, it’s hard to not take Ben’s side. And we think eventually Ciara will recover her memory and feel the same way. One just has to wonder how her behavior will affect Ciara later.
She’ll likely be dealing with a lot of guilt and maybe a little self-hate for being so cruel in how she dealt with him. For example, that was horrible to call him back in the tone she did only to toss the wedding picture toward him and tell him to take it away.
Even better? She told him to do that after telling him not to take another step closer. So, there had to be some confusion for Ben. We’re picturing Vanessa Huxtable (Tempest Bledsoe) being frozen and terrified during her “Wrectched” night of “Big fun.”
He likely had no idea what to do in that moment, but at least Ciara didn’t yell at him to back up when he did move closer to get the picture. There’s one more problem, though.
We also see this having a very bad impact on her future friendship with Theo. Especially if things go the way it’s looking. She’ll likely feel betrayed and used by him, and will turn her fury his way. This is going to be a rough ride for all involved.
