NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers finds that star Chrishell Stause (Jordan Ridgeway) admits that she was completely blindsided on the day that her husband Justin Hartley (ex-Adam Newman, The Young and the Restless) told her that he was divorcing her. The actress says that the move came out of nowhere and that the ex-couple’s divorce has been one of the most traumatizing experiences of her life. Here’s what she has to say.
As many fans can recall, Justin announced that they were splitting up back in November of 2019 after two years of marriage. Prior to his bombshell announcement, it appeared to many fans as though Justin and Chrishell were very happy in their marriage, or at least that’s the way it appeared on social media. In a new interview with RealiTea with Derek Z, the brunette beauty said, “Unfortunately, I’m in a position where more has been shared that I would have ever chosen because this was not a choice that I made. Nor was this the timing that I would have chosen while I was filming a show, so I’m already in a position where so much has been shared that I wouldn’t have opted for.”

To make matters worse, Chrishell was in the middle of filming her hit Netflix show, Selling Sunset, when the news broke and unfortunately, the cameras captured all of her emotions from that period. “It’s an embarrassing, humiliating type of thing to go through without cameras and without people judging you, so I just hope people are gentle when they watch,” she said. “We’re real people. This was a traumatizing time in my life and it’s going to be hard for me to watch it myself.”
