NBC ‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Shocking Orpheus Return Details Unveiled!

NBC ‘Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers is saying that if any one of you remember DOOL from the mid-80’s, then chances are you remember Orpheus. The guy who originally started out as a good guy, working with Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and then his wife got accidentally shot and killed on a mission  by Roman, and then he came gunning for him. Orpheus was never the same after the death of his wife, Rebecca. You could say that her death was the catalyst for his descent into madness. The thing is he had all the training like John and Roman, but after the death of his wife he completely cracked and went over to the dark side. You would think that he’d be a rival to Stefano DiMera (Steven Nichols) all these years but surprisingly, whereas Stefano was a career criminal, looks like Orpheus was crime’s version of a ‘weekend warrior’.

Orpheus has popped up from time to time over the years, wreaking havoc and creating evil in his path but nothing to match the schemes that Stefano did. In fact, in all the times he has come back he tends to be vanquished pretty quickly. But this time it looks like he has a reason to stick around, and that would be son Evan Frears/Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) and grandson little David Ridgeway (Caleb and Kyler Ends). Christian is one of the children that Roman left without a Mother so it’s kind ironic that he would essentially do the same to his little boy. You would think, after the pain of losing his Mom, he would want better for his little boy but no, he took the life of Jordan Ridgeway when she was on the run with little David.

NBC ‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Why now?

The question is, why now? And I get that Orphes, AKA ‘Milo Harp’ has some really extreme idea of family loyalty but come on man. Didn’t they give you some healthy coping mechanisms while in jail? A therapist? Anything? Did it not take? I mean, that’s valid if that’s what happened but you’d think after more than 30 years and a couple of stints in prison (and maybe even some in the afterlife, I mean… come on.) He’d be, at least in stage 3-4 of grief. But no, the pain seems to be really raw and open and Orpheus is still just as insane as the day that it happened in 1986.

Looks like we’ll find out next week when Orpheus makes his third on-screen debut. But who will get Orpheus this time? From the preview, John Black seems to want him dead. But that sentiment could also apply to Stefano DiMera who is holding Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) hostage and would probably make a lot more sense if we applied that sentiment to him. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) believes that Orpheus is dead, which is such a Rafe thing to believe, it’s sad.

Rafe’s not the sharpest crayon in the box, so it doesn’t surprise me one bit that he thinks Orpheus is dead and is willing to discount the theory that this massive supervillain may be alive and kicking and helping out his deranged son in order to keep his Grandson away from a healthy environment and brought into their toxic little web. It is said that Orpheus had two children, where is his daughter? Is she off being a completely normal dentist in Ohio somewhere? Not even associated with her Dad and brother? I could see that.

NBC ‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Revival of the Rambo Squad, anyone?

Either way, we’re in for a battle with Orpheus because he has been known to outsmart even ISA agents before. We really need to get the old Rambo Squad back together but too bad Bo Brady (Peter Reckells) is gone and Patch is now a villain himself. Right now it’d just be Roman and John playing cowboy. So it looks like Rafe needs to gather his own Rambo Squad, maybe Shawn Douglas Brady (Brandon Beemer) could come on-board. I mean, he is the best hope they have for the force right now, along with his sister Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal). How will this go down? Stay tuned!!!
