NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers finds that newcomer Isabel Durant knows that actress Olivia Rose Keegan left some pretty big shoes to fill now that she’s taking over the character of Claire Brady from her. In fact, the Aussie native and beauty recently opened up about her debut on the hit NBC soap and how she’s prepared for it. Here’s what you need to know.
According to Soap Opera Digest, Isabel was hired to take over the role of Claire as Olivia has left DOOL to film High School Musical: The Musical Series. This comes after Olivia won a Daytime Emmy Award for her portrayal of the troubled young blonde.

Speaking to the publication in a new interview, Isabel said that she’s not looking to copy her predecessor’s performance but instead portray her in a different light.
“Olivia is Olivia and she’s brilliant,” Isabel said. “I sort of made the call that I would just listen to what people said. I would listen to how the character was and just do my best to find it within myself as the weeks went on. It was a welcome challenge.”
Meanwhile, Days of Our Lives executive producer Ron Carlivati had this to say on Twitter right before Isabel made her debut, “A huge thank you to Olivia Rose Keegan who brought Claire Brady to life and made us care about her even when she was at her most dastardly.
