NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers find that fans already know, the Daytime Emmy Awards nomination list is out, with fans surprised by who and who didn’t make the list. If there’s one soap actress who is definitely feeling snubbed over not getting a nomination, it’s Camila Banus. Fortunately for the actress, her fans all believe that she most definitely deserved to be recognized for her excellent work as Gabi DiMera this past season. Here’s what you need to know.
Of course, it didn’t take long for ‘Days of Our Lives’ viewers to express their opinions on the matter. Quite a few of them left comments such as, “Camila has indeed been excellent as Gabi. She gives her layers and three-dimension rather than just being a cardboard villain figure. By the way, just who are the people who nominate and what are their qualifications to do so?” along with, “With the nominations being what they are I agree with Camila 100%. She definitely deserved to be nominated. Over the past few years, she’s morphed into a lead on Days and for a good period last year she was the character I looked forward to seeing the most.”

Another fan wrote, “I feel like she was absolutely robbed in the Lead category(and this is coming from someone who can’t stand the character she plays). The hospital scenes in the aftermath of Stefan’s death were award caliber.”
The viewers have definitely spoken. With that said, it will be interesting to see what will happen during the next Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony and if Camilla will finally get the recognition that she knows she deserves and that fans know she deserves. Until then, we’ll keep our fingers crossed!
