NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal the Abigail Deveraux (Kate Mansi) situation just escalated. After she supposedly got the all-clear from that drug in her system, she had another hallucination. This time, it was really wild. And we wonder who’s actually behind it. Let’s take a look at our new personal choice for suspect #1.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The guilty party
This is going to sound weird probably, but stick with us. We think the guilty one is closer than anyone realizes. Namely? Her husband, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). There’s plenty of reasons to suspect this. However, what happened on Monday seemed the most damning of clues. Let’s take a look at the evidence.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The evidence
First of all, Chad has been pretty aggressive through this whole situation. For example, he accused Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) of covering for his sister. We thought that was suspect right away. Rafe was the one who arrested Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) at her wedding, for starters. Secondly, he has shown over and over with Gabi that he’s getting tired of her “act first, think later” way of doing things. And let’s not forget that Rafe did nothing to help Gabi after the arrest over Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes). He genuinely didn’t have enough evidence to arrest Gabi, as it was just Chad’s word that this happened, and Gabi did it.

Secondly, it feels wrong that the drug would act so quickly if Gabi did actually put it in her drink. She hallucinated almost immediately after, and it seems there would be more of a delay between consuming the drug and hallucinating. To us, it seems that Abigail had to get drugged before Gabi showed up and had any reason to get revenge. Plus, it seems Chad is the one who is with her every time she has a hallucination. And Gabi was nowhere near her when her latest one happened—just Chad. So, why would he do it?
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The real guilty one
We think Chad is still under mind control. It seemed a little too neat and easy after everything that happened. Plus, Stefano DiMera (Stephen Nichols) did refer to a backup plan. We wouldn’t be surprised if one of the Shins was behind this, as they’re the ones who ultimately made the decision to toss Gabi out of her own company. Plus, there seemed to be little-to-no concern over putting a guy who’d been under mind control in charge. Why would that happen unless they wanted that? Stay tuned, because this should be a cool arc filled with some huge twists.
