NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers for April 29th, 2020 indicate that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) often makes some questionable decisions but his latest one consists of the decision to trust Orpheus (George DelHoyo). You’d think after the whole thing back in the 80’s where Orpheus kidnapped and proceeded to pretend to blow up and then kidnap his wife Marlena Evans (Deidra Hall) would clue him in on what not to do but I guess John thought that Orpheus had changed – NOT BLOODY LIKELY! But apparently Orpheus crafted a tale that tugged on ol’ Johnny-boy’s heartstrings and that was one of him just being a Father who wanted to help his son.

John’s own son, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) just offered himself up to the bungling Salem PD as the prime suspect in the attempted murder of Victor Kiriakis and of course Orpheus will tell him that if Victor doesn’t make it then Brady will go down like a lead balloon. Then he’ll compare notes and tell him that it’s just like his own son, Evan Fears/Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) and then he’ll have John totally on his side.

Orpheus will bring up the idea of a mutually beneficial alliance and John being the fair guy that he is will actually give him an audience and hear him out. However what he doesn’t realize is that this is only going to end up in mutually assured destruction. Little does John know but he’s basically working towards getting himself kidnapped in May but hey, we all have to learn things the hard way sometimes, right? Right. (You’re how old again, John?)
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers for April 29: Evan drops a bomb
Evan will make a huge confession to sister Zoey Burge (Kelly Thiebaud) which will prompt her to think that Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) attorney will be digging up whatever dirt they can find on him and boy, she’ll be right on the money! Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) is hard at work trying to get make Zoey’s family look worse than Rafe’s but apparently it doesn’t matter, Zoey is biologically related and that’s all the judge is really looking at right now. Zoey wants Evan to own up and tell the whole truth because she does not need any nasty surprises but that’s what it looks like she’ll get because Evan’s not telling the whole story, even with as shocking as his confession is. Woops.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers for April 29: Kayla and Patch feel the burn
Dr. Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) will offer Steve “Patch” Johnson (Steven Nichols) some help with that now permanent eye patch. It looks like his eye cannot be repaired this time, so the Patch is back for good! It’s not like the patch will be a big deal for him, but the fact that his eye is gone again kind of a sore point with him, no pun intended. Normally Steve wouldn’t bother Kayla but his eye is the one thing that he only trusts her with, so this will bring about a bit of a ‘moment’ between the two, with both feeling the heat.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers for April 29: Patch is staying with Hope?
Unfortunately, they’ll be prevented from that epic kiss by Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso), looks like he and Hope have worked out where Steve is going to stay, and that’s with her for the time being! When Kayla learns of this she will feel a bit of a burn there. Kayla wishes that things could be different, but that can’t happen right now, with Steve making all the decisions for her and then there’s that pesky love for Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) that comes into play as well.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers for April 29: Chad blames Gabi
Chad DIMera (Billy Flynn) will be the first to blame Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) for drugging his wife, Abigail DiMera (Kate Mansi), after she started experiencing hallucinations and a drug was found in her system, but he’ll be barking up the wrong tree. Even though Gabi talked of revenge, the only route she planned on taking was the legal way this time, because this time she was actually thinking ahead and thinking that it would be better than the threat of possibly losing custody of her daughter Arianna Horton (Sydney Brower) this time. Wow, Gabi thinking ahead? Hell has frozen over. Stay tuned!!!
