NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal there have been a lot of new faces in Salem lately. Between a few recasts, and the Price family showing up, there’s been plenty of change.
But we’re about to get a special guest appearance that might make the ‘90s fangirl within happy. Let’s take a look at what a certain star of the day revealed on his tik tok account.

First, we not only got new faces when Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) and Chanel DuPree (Precious Way) arrived in town, but we got a new Chanel when Raven Bowens took over the part. Plus a recast for Claire Brady (Isabel Durant), an aged Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and several returns/departures.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers also reveal there’s another one on the horizon when Marla Gibbs joins the cast as Olivia Price, Paulina’s mom. Get ready for one more when someone makes a cameo appearance. Who is it?
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Backstreet’s back
Well, one of them anyway. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal AJ McLean is coming to Salem! According to his social media, he just filmed a guest spot on the soap, something he was clearly excited and honored to do. He spoke about growing up with the show and hoping he makes his grandmother proud.
We’re loving it! While we might have taken a controversial stand back in the day by being both an ‘NSync and Backstreet Boys fan, we have to say the latter has songs that have held up best over the years. And they’re still together and in action.
While there’s no word on when AJ will show up on screen, reports indicate the show is at least four to six months ahead of airdates now, an impressive feat considering how long they were shut down.
So, we can likely expect to see him as “Driver” around November 2021 to January 2022. The video showed McLean still in costume and gave fans a glimpse of the set. Check it out to see the whole thing as well as McLean’s caption.

Of course, our favorite part of this whole thing was the reactions, especially from fellow DOOL cast members. While several, including Camila Banus (Gabi DiMera) sent emojis, two in particular decided to have fun with the announcement in the comments on the official DOOL account.
Robert Scott Wilson, who plays Ben Weston on the show, wrote, “Tell me you’re sticking around @aj_mclean … Quit playin’ games with my heart!”
Meanwhile, new EJ DiMera Dan Feuerriegel wrote, “Tell me why … ???”
Sounds like BSB has some fans in Salem.
